CHILD CARE

Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services at present centrally manage three Long Day Care, one Occasional Care and one Preschool service, along with providing advice and support to seven locally managed Lutheran Child Care services across Queensland and Northern New South Wales. These services provide secure, age-appropriate, nurturing, environments that encourage children aged 6 weeks to 5 years to play, learn and grow.

Our early childhood professionals all have relevant qualifications and aim to provide high quality play-based programs focused on the individual needs of the children in their care, as well as those of the group. Children participate in a range of different indoor and outdoor experiences which provide opportunities for them to explore, inquire and problem solve.

Families are encouraged to be actively involved in the centre by participating in centre activities, fund raising and social events. Child Care benefit is available for families.

For centrally managed services we have a Community Liaison Group (CLG) which operates in an advisory capacity, providing parent and local community input into the running of the service for the benefit of Children, Families and Carers. For locally managed services this is provided through the governance committee.
