Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services at present centrally manage seven Lutheran Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services and provide advice and support to eleven locally manage Lutheran Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services across Queensland ranging from the Gold Coast through to Cairns and out to Toowoomba. These services are co-located within our Lutheran Schools and can offer Before, After & Vacation Care for children of school age from Prep through to Primary and Middle school.
 
Our services are accredited under the National Childcare Accreditation Council and are Licensed with the Office for Early Childhood Education and Care under the Child Care Act 2002 and Child Care Regulations 2003.

Quality Outside School Hours Care is all about providing a safe, suitable and stimulating environment where children’s physical, emotional and social needs are met.

Our services offer varied and exciting programs which allow the children to play and explore in a stimulating environment. Programs are designed to cater to the children's age, skill, interests and abilities through a variety of challenging and recreational activities.

Families can choose to make a permanent booking or casual booking for their children depending on the family needs. Child Care Benefit is available to all families to assist with the costs of Outside School Hours Care.

Several of our OSHC services also offer the Active After-school Communities program which is a national initiative under the Australian Sports Commission that provides primary school-aged children with access to structured physical activity programs. The program aims to engage traditionally non-active children in structured physical activities and to build pathways with local community organisations, including sporting clubs.

For centrally managed services we have a Community Liaison Group (CLG) which operates in an advisory capacity, providing parent and local community input into the running of the service for the benefit of Children, Families and Carers. For locally managed services this is provided through the governance committee.
